The object in my photos is a vintage Federal Glass Pioneer Iridescent Smoke Carnival glass bowl. It is a pressed glass bowl that was produced in the United States and is known for its smoky Gray glass with an iridescent carnival glaze that reflects various colors like blue, green and purple, depending on the light. Pattern on this is Pioneer. The bottom of the bowl features an intaglio (recessed) fruit design. The sides of the bowl features a crimped pie cut edge with a starburst design in the center of the crimping. Circa 1970s. This is a stunning piece that will add a touch of elegance to any table. It's free of damage and measures 11 inches in diameter, 2.25 inches tall. Non-smoking pet free home.
