These 38 Presidential Medals were produced to honor the U.S. past presidents and are a part of a continuing series. Like all medals produced by the U.S. Mint, these bronze duplicates (90% copper, 10% zinc), or “List


 Medals” are only produced with an authorization from the U.S. Congress. 

These medals are struck at the United States Mint in Philadelphia without a mint mark. The 3” (diameter),


 high-relief medals are struck multiple times on hydraulic presses and hand finished. The obverse of each


 medal has the inauguration date and other pertinent information.

This set includes all presidents beginning with George Washington to Richard Nixon. (1789-1974)
